“WHO THE HELL ARE YOU, AND WHY ARE YOU WEARING MY CLOTHES?” THE MAID’S DAUGHTER PLAYED QUEEN, UNTIL THE REAL HEIRESS RETURNS AND…

“Scared of what Grandma?” I asked.

“Of Brenda,” she said crying.

“And putting my seventy six year old grandmother in a damp servant room,” I said loudly to the cameras outside.

“She is lying. We slept outside on the cold concrete because Olivia Sterling threw us out with nowhere to go!”

“I only hope Mrs Sterling is okay without me,” Brenda cried to her daughter phone.

“Good,” I smiled.

“You are already fully packed. Let everyone hear exactly how heartless you think I am. They were asked to leave after stealing expensive jewelry, occupying private family rooms, and putting my seventy six year old grandmother in a damp tiny servant room. Jessica is lying.”

I pulled out my own phone and started recording.

“This is exactly where my grandmother slept,” I showed the damp basement room.

“This is exactly where Brenda slept. The master suite. This is the custom necklace she said was legally hers. You cannot just ruin our lives Jessica. You built your entire fake life inside someone else house.”

“Brenda maybe it is better if you just go quietly,” Grandma Margaret said from the doorway.

“Mrs Sterling after all these long years?” Brenda pleaded.

“No more cheap guilt games Brenda,” I said. “You think she will be safe with you Olivia? You are never even here!”

“Then I will absolutely change my schedule,” I said firmly.

“People like you never change,” Jessica spat. “You outsource your love. And people like you mistake basic kindness for total ownership.”

“Restraining notice draft for Mr Liam Cross is ready to send,” Carlos interrupted.

“Liam Cross?” Jessica asked looking confused.

A tall handsome man in a tailored suit walked past the security gates. It was Liam Cross. He was the chief legal counsel for my family trust.

“Mrs Sterling please,” Brenda begged him. “Just one single night. After everything I did for you do not make us sleep on the dark street.”

“Olivia maybe just tonight,” Grandma Margaret said softly. “One night please. Then they leave permanently in the morning.”

“Fine Grandma,” I sighed heavily. “You can stay in the back guest cottage tonight. Not inside the main house. Not anywhere near my grandmother.”

“By eight in the morning you leave the property entirely,” Liam Cross announced with his deep authoritative voice. “If you do not leave the New York police will remove you forcefully.”

“Thank you Mrs Sterling,” Brenda smiled wickedly. “You will not regret this.”

“Do not make me regret it,” I warned her.

“Watch the guest cottage Carlos,” Liam ordered. “They leave by eight sharp.”

“Understood sir,” Carlos nodded.

“The new doctor was very kind Olivia,” Grandma Margaret smiled later that evening. “You are getting a full time registered nurse tomorrow. A real medical professional.”

“No,” Carlos burst into the living room. “Miss Olivia they are inside the main house.”

“The guest cottage is empty?” I asked.

“Their bags are totally gone,” Carlos said. “And the main lock on the front door has been completely changed. Someone called an emergency locksmith under the name of Jessica Carter.”

“Call the police and get Liam back here right now,” I said.

“Maybe we should not make it a bigger issue Olivia,” Grandma Margaret worried.

“Grandma they promised to leave,” I said angrily. “Instead they broke back into your home and changed the locks.”

“Jessica has new rules,” Brenda yelled from the top of the stairs when we finally got inside through the patio door. “She made rules for you in your own house.”

“Some people truly need firm boundaries,” Jessica smiled walking down the stairs in another one of my dresses. “House rule number one. If you are not back by seven you do not come inside. Open the door and say please.”

“Carlos,” I said. “Hey you cannot break in!” Jessica yelled.

“You cannot break into what you legally own,” Carlos laughed.

“Miss Jessica you are late,” a strange man in a waiter uniform said walking into the foyer. “Miss Jessica does not like noise after dinner.”

“And who the hell hired you?” I demanded.

“Miss Jessica of course,” the waiter said.

“Welcome back Olivia,” Jessica smirked broadly. “Meet my brand new staff.”

“You called the police?” Jessica panicked when she saw the flashing blue lights outside the window.

“No Jessica,” I smiled. “I called my brilliant lawyer. The wealthy neighbors called the police after you aggressively changed my locks and caused a scene.”

“I did not invite anyone else,” Jessica said nervously.

“I know,” I said.

“Here is the warm milk for the old lady,” the waiter offered a glass.

“Take it back immediately,” I said. “She never complained before because she was terrified of you. I am absolutely not terrified.”

“Miss Jessica everything is perfectly ready,” the waiter said.

“Good,” Jessica smiled nervously. “My important guests will be here very soon.”

“Guests?” I laughed.

“I am hosting a small dinner party,” Jessica said. “This house has been completely dead for years. I am bringing it back to vibrant life.”

“Jessica you promised you would leave this morning,” I said. “And you promised my mother deep gratitude,” Brenda yelled.

“Gratitude is absolutely not a free house key,” I said. “You cannot just throw people out because you are incredibly rich!”

“Who hired you people?” Liam Cross demanded walking through the front door with two police officers.

“Miss Jessica did,” the waiter said nervously. “She promised us triple pay.”

“Then she can pay you outside on the sidewalk,” Liam said firmly. “Do not listen to her. She does not even legally live here.”

“Good evening everyone,” Liam said loudly to the entire room. “This is Liam Cross legal counsel for the Sterling Trust. Anyone inside this private property without written authorization from Olivia Sterling is currently trespassing. If you were hired by Jessica Carter she is personally responsible for your wages. Not the Sterling family.”

“Stop looking at me like that!” Jessica yelled at the waiters.

“Officers thank god you are here,” Brenda ran up to the police crying fake tears. “This crazy woman broke into our quiet family dinner. We live here. She keeps harassing us because she thinks money means ultimate power.”

“Money does not mean power Brenda,” Liam said stepping forward. “Legal ownership does. Olivia Sterling is listed as the sole legal owner through the Sterling Trust.”

“You said this was your house Jessica!” the head waiter yelled.

“I said it is basically my house,” Jessica stammered.

“Basically is absolutely not legally,” the police officer noted writing in his notepad.

“Mrs Sterling please tell them,” Brenda begged my grandmother. “You promised I would always have a safe place here.”

“I said you could stay until you found a proper place,” Grandma Margaret said bravely.

“I gave you five years of my life!” Brenda screamed.

“And you took five years of her peace,” I fired back.

“Who hired you?” the police officer asked the waiters.

“Miss Jessica did,” the waiter said. “She said we would be paid triple. She said the old lady was just a crazy relative staying here temporarily.”

“Jessica you told them that?” Brenda asked looking shocked.

“I said what I had to say mom!” Jessica yelled. “Nobody respects a massive house run by a confused old woman.”

“Jessica thank you,” Liam smiled checking his recording device. “That was very honest of you.”

“I did not mean it exactly like that,” Jessica backpedaled.

“Officers we are also formally filing a report for unlawful entry, unauthorized lock replacement, severe property damage, and blatant elder mistreatment,” Liam stated clearly.

“Elder mistreatment?” Brenda shrieked. “He is lying!”

“Show them the tiny damp room Carlos,” I said.

“Remember exactly who saved you Mrs Sterling?” Brenda hissed at my grandmother.

“What did you just say to her?” I demanded stepping aggressively toward Brenda.

“I said I love her,” Brenda lied smoothly.

“Legal legal legal,” Jessica mocked us. “You rich people hide behind thick papers because you have absolutely no heart.”

“I remember waking up and you were there,” Grandma Margaret whispered softly.

“Mrs Sterling slept down here sometimes,” Brenda told the police officers pointing at the basement room. “Most nights she liked it down there. It is very cozy.”

“Then you sleep there tonight Brenda,” I said coldly.

“Your property is legally held by the Sterling Trust,” Liam explained to the officers. “Olivia Sterling is the managing beneficiary. Margaret Sterling has lifetime residence rights.”

“So neither Brenda Carter nor Jessica Carter has legal residency,” the lead officer confirmed.

“Correct,” Liam nodded.

“You hide behind pity because you have no legal claim Jessica,” I said.

“Mrs Sterling tell them I am not a stranger!” Brenda cried. “Tell them what I did for you! I found you after you fell!”

“I saved her life!” Brenda yelled at the cops. “Can gratitude create property rights?”

“No maam,” the officer said. “That is the strict law.”

“We have lived here for over a year,” Jessica argued. “Does that not count for something?”

“It counts as a very long unauthorized stay if the legal owner did not consent,” the officer replied. “Pack whatever is actually yours. Mr Carlos will check every single bag.”

“Miss Olivia that is my bag,” Jessica pointed.

“Step back Miss Carter,” the officer warned her.

“You stole heavily from a dead woman Jessica,” I said pulling my mother’s pink diamond necklace from her luggage.

“Miss Carter you will need to rapidly explain why this diamond necklace was hidden in your luggage,” the officer said sternly.

“Mrs Sterling please,” Brenda fell to her knees. “I saved you. I cared for you. Do not let them do this terrible thing to us.”

“I remember waking up and you were there,” Grandma Margaret repeated. “There was broken glass everywhere.”

“Grandma what broken glass?” I asked gently.

“A necklace maybe,” she said rubbing her temples. “I told her to put it back instantly. I was very angry. Then I fell hard.”

“I found it in a dusty closet,” Jessica lied to the cops. “Nobody was using it because she is completely dead.”

“Miss Carter this expensive item will be noted in the official report as disputed property and possible grand theft,” the officer stated.

“Officer this is just a simple family misunderstanding,” Brenda pleaded.

“You are absolutely not family,” I said. “Miss Sterling will file the initial report for the unauthorized changed locks and disputed property. For the elder mistreatment and grand theft we will need full medical records, a complete inventory, and any security footage you can easily provide.”

“You will have absolutely everything by tomorrow morning officer,” Liam promised.

“Mrs Carter, Miss Carter, you are not allowed back inside the main house without the explicit permission of the owner,” the officer ordered them.

“So we are just supposed to leave into the cold night?” Jessica asked crying fake tears.

“Yes,” the officer said bluntly.

“But we have absolutely nowhere to go,” Brenda sobbed.

“That does not give you the legal right to indefinitely occupy someone else’s home,” the officer replied.

“This is not over Olivia,” Jessica threatened me as she walked out the door.

“No Jessica,” I smiled. “It is finally starting.”

The police filed the very first report. Now Liam and I had to build the ironclad case they could never talk their way out of.

“Start with the so called heroic rescue,” I told Liam in the library.

“I remember waking up and Brenda was there,” Grandma Margaret repeated softly from her chair.

“She is absolutely right Grandma,” I said. “I was not there. But if Brenda really saved Grandma why does Grandma shake violently every single time she hears her voice?”

“Tell me everything we know about the exact day Brenda saved her,” I ordered Carlos. “I want the date, the hospital, the doctor, the emergency report. I want all of it on my desk.”

“I will pull the medical records and the old security logs,” Liam said typing on his laptop. “And I will officially subpoena anything Brenda refuses to give us.”

“There was definitely broken glass,” Grandma Margaret murmured.

“Grandma what glass?” I asked again.

“The pink diamond necklace maybe,” she said. “I told her to put it back immediately. I was very angry. Then I fell down.”

“Carlos pull every old security backup,” I said. “Off site servers, cloud archives, repair logs, everything.”

“Already started Miss Olivia,” Carlos said.

“Jessica just posted another video online,” Liam sighed. “The caption says they are trying to erase the heroic woman who saved their grandmother.”

“Find me the missing files Carlos,” I said. “I am going to charge her for grand theft, massive fraud, property damage, and blatant impersonation.”

“Jessica Carter, Manhattan Princess,” I read the social media title. “That is totally new.”

“You cannot go in there,” Jessica had yelled in the video when I entered my bedroom earlier. “It is my private space now.”

“Olivia I am so sorry,” Grandma Margaret cried. “You did not do this. You were not using any of it. This expensive dress was from the memorial gala of your mother.”

“Then maybe you should have kept it somewhere much safer,” Jessica had mocked us on camera. “It was in my locked room.”

“Scratches, stains, missing designer tags,” Carlos listed the damages. “Add it to the massive list.”

“You are going to charge me for silly bags?” Jessica laughed online. “How utterly desperate.”

“No Jessica,” I commented on her live video. “I am going to charge you for grand theft, massive fraud, property damage, and blatant impersonation.”

“Impersonation?” Jessica typed back quickly.

“You used my home, my expensive clothes, my family name, and my grandmother to sell a massive lie,” I typed.

“She was not just living here Olivia,” Liam showed me the screen. “Jessica Sterling Lifestyle. Manhattan Bloodline.”

“You used my last name Jessica,” I said to the screen.

“It is just smart branding,” Jessica claimed online.

“No it is pure fraud with much better lighting,” I replied. “Posted. My millions of followers will eat you completely alive.”

“Growing up in a wealthy legacy family teaches you elegance cannot be bought,” Jessica said in a video wearing my stolen silk dress.

“Bold line for someone wearing stolen silk,” I commented publicly.

“Stop watching my private content,” Jessica panicked.

“It is public,” I replied. “You actively monetized it.”

“Grandma’s Diamonds. A little family history,” Jessica titled another video showing off my mother’s jewelry.

“Your family history?” I typed.

“My followers love aspirational content,” Jessica defended herself.

“They followed a cheap costume Jessica,” I hit send.

“Jessica what exactly did you post?” Brenda yelled in the background of the live stream.

“What?” Jessica asked. “I had to do it. You said we deserved this luxurious life.”

“She made serious money from these fake videos,” Liam calculated.

“How much money Liam?” I asked.

“Brand deals, affiliate links, paid live stream gifts. Roughly forty two thousand dollars,” Liam said.

“That is my hard work,” Jessica cried online. “I built that massive audience.”

“You built it with my house, my private room, my custom dress, my grandmother, and my family name,” I said. “You think you can scare me with cheap lawyers? Billionaire heiress tries to destroy maid’s daughter for becoming highly successful. Posted. My followers will eat you alive.”

“Emily Davis wants an exclusive interview Olivia,” Liam said walking into the room. “She says the public fully deserves to hear both sides of the story.”

“Emily Davis?” I asked. “She has millions of daily viewers. Good. Let us give them a massive show.”

“I will make sure the entire world sees what you did to the dead and the living Brenda,” I muttered looking at the ruined family portraits.

“What is around your neck Jessica?” I asked looking at the recovered footage.

“Where are they?” I asked Brenda pointing to the empty walls. “Grandpa Arthur’s portrait was here and the photo of my mother was beside it.”

“That was my new boyfriend Rick,” Brenda had said in the video. “Documenting everything. This is not accidental damage.”

“No someone wanted them completely gone,” Liam observed.

“I told Brenda this room was never to be touched under any circumstances and she touched it anyway,” I said furiously.

“I let her into this house,” Grandma Margaret cried.

“You gave her beautiful kindness Grandma,” I said. “She turned it into a cruel weapon.”

“I told you I only need my daily medicine bag,” Grandma Margaret said in a recovered clip.

“Did you do this Brenda?” I asked watching her tear down the photos.

“Those old pictures were highly depressing,” Brenda scoffed on tape. “Mrs Sterling cried every single time she saw them. So you threw away my entire family? I cleaned up the heavy grief. You should thank me.”

“Grief is absolutely not trash Brenda,” I whispered.

“Oh my god they are already dead,” Jessica laughed on tape. “Why are we acting like broken wooden frames actually matter?”

“Say that again Jessica,” I dared her.

“I said dead people do not need a whole massive room,” Jessica sneered.

“Carlos check every single storage room, every trash pickup, every delivery record,” I ordered. “If one piece of my family history is missing I will make sure the world sees what you did to the dead and the living.”

“What is around your neck Jessica?” I yelled in the video.

“You gave my mother’s custom necklace to your daughter Brenda,” I said furiously. “Why do you get absolutely everything?”

“Show me,” I said reaching for it.

“Do not touch me,” Jessica yelled. “The necklace is mine now.”

“I did not ask you Jessica,” I said. “Give it to me. That was my mother’s.”

“Your mother had a lot of nice things,” Jessica laughed. “She wore this the exact day she brought me home from the hospital. She never took it off. Give it back.”

“No,” Jessica smirked.

“Jessica give it to her,” Brenda had said nervously. “You gave it to me mom!”

“I thought Mrs Sterling did not want painful memories lying around,” Brenda lied smoothly.

“You never asked me Brenda,” Grandma Margaret said.

“Why do you get absolutely everything Olivia?” Jessica screamed. “What? The massive house, the designer clothes, the powerful name, the dead mother everyone worships, and even the sad old grandma.”

“Take it off right now,” I said stepping closer.

“Make me,” Jessica challenged.

“Wrong direction Jessica,” I said pushing her back.

“Stop it,” Brenda yelled. “You will make it much worse.”

“She is absolutely not a prop for your fake fantasy life Jessica,” I said.

“You love dead things so much Olivia,” Jessica spat. “Wait until the people see how you treat the living.”

“What did you do?” I asked watching her edit the video on her phone.

“She stole my necklace and violently threatened my mother,” Jessica recorded herself crying. “The real Olivia Sterling is a complete monster.”

“Jessica you posted that already?” Brenda panicked. “It is going highly viral.”

“Then we stop playing defense Liam,” I said closing the laptop. “Jessica said this was her mansion. Free drinks at Jessica Sterling’s Manhattan Estate. Dress hot. Stay very late.”

“Olivia is someone else inside?” Carlos asked looking at the monitors. “Team two front entrance. Team three cover the side iron gate.”

“Well look who finally came home,” Rick slurred walking out of the kitchen.

“Rick,” I said disgusted.

“Brenda said nobody important would be back tonight,” Rick laughed.

“Brenda knew everything,” I said.

“Brenda knows absolutely everything,” Rick smirked. “She said this place was basically completely hers. Jessica said this was her private mansion. Free drinks at the estate.”

“She needs to win again,” Liam noted.

“The memorial room,” Grandma Margaret cried. “That was the favorite face of Arthur.”

“Where are the rest of the paintings Brenda?” I demanded.

“Brenda gave some away,” Rick admitted lazily. “Said rich people call it expensive antique. Normal people just call it useless clutter.”

“You are going to tell me every single name Rick,” Liam stepped forward intimidatingly.

“Why would I do that?” Rick slurred.

“Because receiving stolen high end property carries massive federal consequences,” Liam explained coldly.

“Look I only came over because Brenda said the old lady was officially signing everything over,” Rick panicked.

“Signing what over?” I asked my heart dropping.

“Forget it,” Rick mumbled trying to walk away.

“No Rick,” I said blocking his path. “Say it again.”

“I cannot,” Rick sweat heavily. “Once Margaret signs the gratitude transfer the house is completely ours.”

“I never agreed to that,” Grandma Margaret said firmly.

“Find that forged document Carlos,” I ordered.

“Number six trending online Miss Olivia,” Carlos read from his screen. “Heartless heiress evicts elderly woman’s loving caregiver. I saved her life.”

“Found something major,” Liam said holding up a thick paper. “Gratitude transfer agreement.”

“Read the first line Liam,” I said my hands shaking.

“I Margaret Sterling in deep gratitude for Brenda Carter’s life saving care willingly transfer residential interest and future property benefits,” Liam read aloud.

“No I never signed that document,” Grandma Margaret gasped.

“Are you absolutely sure Grandma?” I asked gently.

“Yes,” she nodded firmly.

“These are practice signatures,” Liam held up another paper filled with scribbles. “Someone was desperately copying your handwriting.”

“Brenda used to bring me letters and bank checks,” Grandma Margaret remembered. “She said my hands were too shaky to sign them.”

“Did she ever ask you to sign blank white papers Grandma?” Liam asked softly.

“Maybe once or twice,” she admitted. “She said it was for the pharmacy delivery driver.”

“That is exactly enough for attempted massive fraud,” Liam said closing his briefcase.

“Attempted?” I asked.

“If we find a fully signed version it gets infinitely worse for them,” Liam warned.

“You had absolutely no right to go through my private things,” Brenda yelled walking back into the house with police.

“You mean the massive fraud documents hidden inside my house Brenda?” I asked holding them up.

“Mrs Sterling wanted to thank me properly,” Brenda lied to the officers.

“I wanted to pay you a nice bonus,” Grandma Margaret said. “Not give you my entire home.”

“You had this giant Manhattan mansion and you still acted like giving my mother a regular paycheck was sweet charity,” Jessica yelled. “She was fully paid to work. Not to inherit my house.”

“I saved her actual life!” Brenda screamed again.

“Then why did you need to aggressively copy her signature fifty times?” I asked showing the papers to the cops.

“You are so busy digging through old papers you do not even know what is happening online Olivia,” Jessica smirked checking her phone. “Number six trending. Heartless heiress evicts caregiver. Sterling Group massive boycott begins after viral maid abuse video. They are weaponizing public opinion against you.”

“Then we give the public a much better weapon,” I said calmly.

“Too late,” Jessica smiled wickedly. “Emily Davis wants us live on her show tomorrow at noon. Brenda and Jessica Carter tell us how a billionaire heiress turned deep gratitude into a cruel eviction.”

“Olivia Sterling wants to erase us because we strongly remind her of the grandmother she completely abandoned in New York,” Jessica read her own post aloud.

“Boycott Sterling Group is rising rapidly nationally,” Carlos reported. “Three major board members requested an emergency call immediately. What else? Emily Davis announced a noon live stream. Title: The billionaire, the maid, and the grandmother no one properly protected.”

“Olivia this massive scandal is significantly damaging the company,” Liam said pacing the floor. “People genuinely think you abused a working class caregiver.”

“People think exactly what Jessica Carter highly edited them into thinking,” I said.

“Then apologize first publicly and fight later legally,” the board member suggested over the phone.

“No,” I said firmly into the receiver.

“I will absolutely not apologize for removing common thieves from the home of my grandmother,” I stated.

“You are risking your CEO position Olivia,” the board member warned.

“Then call a formal vote,” I challenged him and hung up the phone.

“I know this is highly personal Olivia,” Liam said softly. “But online personal does not matter. Hard footage does.”

“Then we need the hard footage,” I said pacing. “Do we have it Carlos?”

“The deleted files are heavily damaged but not totally gone,” Carlos typed rapidly.

“How long to fix them?” I asked.

“Not long enough for the noon show of Emily Davis,” Carlos sighed.

“Maybe I should go on camera too,” Grandma Margaret offered bravely.

“No Grandma they are using me. I should speak for myself,” I said.

“Not until you are perfectly ready,” Liam advised.

“I was not ready when I let them hurt me either,” Grandma Margaret whispered.

“At noon Brenda and Jessica Carter tell us how a billionaire heiress turned gratitude into a cruel eviction,” the television blared. “Olivia Sterling wants to erase us because we remind her of the grandmother she abandoned.”

“That is absolutely not true,” I said watching the screen.

“I will do it,” I said firmly. “I will face them live on the show.”

“If she goes live Olivia there is absolutely no taking it back,” Liam warned.

“Then we make absolutely sure they deeply regret going live first,” I said.

“The maid and the grandmother no one protected,” Emily Davis announced on the live broadcast. “Sounds highly accurate. Today we are broadcasting live inside the Sterling mansion where a former housekeeper claimed she was violently thrown out after years of incredibly loyal service.”

“Brenda what exactly happened here?” Emily asked holding the microphone.

“I loved Mrs Sterling exactly like my own sweet mother,” Brenda cried fake tears. “I cooked for her daily, bathed her gently, and I saved her life.”

“Grandma you do not have to answer anything yet,” I whispered holding her hand off camera.

“See,” Jessica pointed at me. “Olivia will not even let her speak freely.”

“Miss Sterling did you or did you not forcefully remove Brenda Carter from this home?” Emily asked me directly.

“Yes,” I answered clearly.

“That is exactly the story she tells,” Emily turned to the camera. “After Brenda saved the life of your grandmother one asks how can someone be so incredibly rich and so incredibly cruel?”

“That is what we have been asking for long years,” Jessica added dramatically.

“For years you were generously invited to stay for a few short days,” I corrected her.

“Because my Brooklyn dorm was not safe,” Jessica lied. “Your grandmother had a huge heart. You absolutely do not.”

“I only said a few simple things,” Grandma Margaret murmured.

“Mrs Sterling are you saying Brenda and Jessica completely overstayed their welcome?” Emily asked leaning in. “Remember exactly who found you on the cold floor?” Brenda hissed quietly at her.

“Did you just actively threaten her on live television Brenda?” I demanded stepping forward.

“I politely reminded her that I saved her life,” Brenda smiled tightly.

“People online are saying Olivia Sterling is aggressively abusing an old woman into silence,” Emily read from a tablet.

“Keep reading,” Jessica smiled proudly. “It says why does the grandmother look so terrified of the maid?”

“Mrs Sterling are you truly afraid of Brenda Carter?” Emily asked gently.

“I remember,” Grandma Margaret said suddenly her voice remarkably strong.

“Turn the camera off right now,” Brenda panicked reaching for the lens.

“Keep your hands completely off the camera Brenda,” Carlos stepped forward.

“Lying,” Jessica started shouting. “She is completely lying.”

“Grandma look at me,” I said softly. “You are completely safe now.”

“There was broken glass on the floor,” Grandma Margaret breathed heavily.

“She is highly confused,” Brenda interrupted quickly. “She gets exactly like this when she is overly tired.”

“What glass Grandma?” I ignored Brenda.

“The glowing pink diamond necklace,” Grandma Margaret said clearly. “Brenda had it tightly in her hand.”

“No,” Brenda shook her head rapidly. “No that never happened at all.”

“Brenda Mrs Sterling just said she saw you actively holding a stolen necklace before she fell down,” Emily stated looking shocked.

“She is completely mixing things up in her old age,” Brenda lied profusely. “I found her bleeding after she collapsed. I politely told her to put it back.”

“Put what back Brenda?” I asked coldly.

“Your mother’s birthday necklace,” Brenda stammered. “The pink diamond.”

“Stop filming her right now,” Jessica yelled at the cameraman. “She is having a severe medical episode.”

“Do you want us to stop filming Grandma?” I asked gently.

“No Olivia,” she said firmly. “I want to fully remember. I came downstairs quietly. Brenda was actively opening the locked jewelry cabinet. I said that does not belong to you Brenda. She said I owed her immensely. She said this greedy family had way too much wealth.”

“Enough!” Brenda screamed. “She does not know what she is saying at all!”

“Sit down Brenda,” Liam commanded stepping into the frame.

“I am being viciously attacked for deeply loving an old woman,” Brenda cried to the camera.

“No Brenda,” Emily corrected her looking at the live comments. “You are being fully exposed for using one. The online comments are rapidly shifting. People are asking why Brenda does not actively deny opening the jewelry cabinet.”

“People online are incredibly stupid,” Jessica yelled losing her temper. “They believe absolutely anything.”

“Careful Jessica you are still broadcasting live,” Liam noted.

“You pushed me very hard Brenda,” Grandma Margaret said looking directly at her.

“I saved you!” Brenda screamed.

“No,” Grandma Margaret said sadly. “You only came back because you were terrified I was already dead.”

“Turn it off right now!” Jessica lunged for the camera.

“Hands off the expensive camera Miss Carter,” the operator warned her.

“Lying,” Jessica shrieked loudly. “She is totally lying. That crazy old woman is lying to all of you.”

“What did you just call her?” Emily asked her eyes wide. “Viewers are actively asking did Jessica just call the sweet grandmother an old woman?”

“I am not going crazy am I Olivia?” Grandma Margaret asked me.

“No Grandma,” I smiled. “You were just violently silenced.”

“Jessica stop talking,” Brenda hissed grabbing her daughter’s arm.

“No I am completely done being the poor maid’s daughter!” Jessica screamed uncontrollably on live television.

“Jessica is highly emotional,” Brenda tried to damage control. “She watched her loving mother get publicly humiliated.”

“She called my grandmother a blatant liar,” I stated calmly.

“Because she absolutely is a liar!” Jessica yelled pointing at us. “She let us live here in luxury and then violently turned on us when you came back from Europe. You liked having us here Margaret. You liked not being totally alone.”

“Step back Jessica,” I warned her.

“Or what Olivia?” Jessica mocked me. “You will hit me violently on live camera?”

“No,” I smiled coldly. “I will let the camera perfectly watch you destroy yourself.”

“Jessica you may strongly want to sit down,” Emily advised her.

“Do not tell me what to do Emily,” Jessica snapped. “You wanted a massive story. I am giving you one.”

“Jessica please stop,” Brenda begged her.

“No I am absolutely done being the poor maid’s daughter,” Jessica screamed crying mascara tears. “She gets a massive Manhattan mansion, a billion dollar company, a dead mother everyone cries over, and a sad grandma who signs blank checks because she feels lonely.”

“So that is exactly what she was to you?” I asked quietly. “A lonely old woman with a fat checkbook?”

“She desperately wanted to help us,” Brenda cried.

“And you desperately wanted to become us Jessica,” I said.

“Why not?” Jessica screamed defensively. “You were not even here to enjoy it.”

“I know Jessica,” I said softly. “And I will live with that deep guilt forever. But you do not get to turn my personal guilt into your forged property deed.”

“Tell them you wanted us here Margaret,” Brenda commanded her.

“Touch her again and you are completely done,” Liam said stepping between them.

“Let go of me,” Jessica yelled.

“Not until you completely calm down Miss Carter,” Liam said smoothly.

“Look she is physically hurting me,” Jessica yelled to the camera.

“The camera clearly shows Jessica reached for Mrs Sterling first,” Emily narrated to her millions of viewers.

“Stop filming my daughter right now,” Brenda demanded.

“Back up completely,” Carlos ordered her.

“Tell them the truth Margaret,” Brenda begged. “Tell them I saved you that day.”

“You did not save me Brenda,” Grandma Margaret said firmly. “You totally trapped me.”

“If you both hate us so incredibly much maybe you both should have died that day,” Jessica spat viciously.

“Say that again clearly Jessica,” I challenged her.

“You do not have to watch this Olivia,” Liam said softly to me.

“I strictly need to,” I replied.

“Viewers are rapidly asking did Jessica Carter just wish death upon Mrs Sterling?” Emily read from her tablet looking horrified.

“I did not mean it exactly like that,” Jessica backpedaled realizing her massive mistake.

“Then what exactly did you mean?” Emily pressed her.

“She is just a confused child,” Brenda tried to cover. “She is very scared.”

“She is twenty two years old Brenda,” Liam corrected her.

“The file recovery is rapidly moving Miss Olivia,” Carlos whispered in my ear. “We successfully found highly fragmented clips from the deleted footage.”

“Yes but not completely clean enough yet,” Liam whispered back.

“What deleted footage?” Emily asked catching the whisper.

“The specific footage someone deleted rapidly using the staff access code of Brenda Carter,” I announced to the camera.

“I never deleted anything in my life,” Brenda lied loudly.

“Your unique staff login was used exactly nine times directly after midnight three days after Mrs Sterling suffered her fall,” Carlos read from his screen.

“Maybe the computer system simply glitched,” Jessica offered weakly.

“Advanced systems do not glitch Jessica,” Liam smiled. “Guilty people intentionally delete.”

“Bring your camera over here Emily,” I commanded.

“You want us to keep actively filming?” Emily asked surprised.

“They desperately wanted a massive live stream,” I said firmly. “Let us give them hard evidence.”

“West Hall, jewelry cabinet, two thirteen in the morning. Partial recovery complete,” Carlos announced tapping his keyboard.

“You do not have to watch this Grandma,” I said.

“I absolutely need to Olivia,” she replied bravely.

“Brenda Carter is clearly at the locked jewelry cabinet,” Emily narrated looking at the laptop screen. “Mrs Sterling walks into the frame. They appear to be arguing aggressively.”

“That is totally fake video,” Jessica screamed.

“Careful Jessica,” Liam pointed. “That is another active camera.”

The camera crew laughed quietly.

“I see absolutely nothing,” Brenda denied. “Oh look the choppy video does not show anything violent.”

“Wait quietly Brenda,” I said.

“People online are saying zoom into the reflection on the glass,” Emily read from the live feed.

“You did not find her lying on the floor Brenda,” I said coldly. “You violently put her there.”

“Mrs Sterling please,” Brenda cried breaking down completely. “I panicked. I was incredibly poor.”

“I was not going crazy,” Grandma Margaret breathed a massive sigh of relief.

“No Grandma,” I said hugging her. “You were terribly hurt. Then they intentionally made you doubt your own brilliant mind.”

“No that is not what actually happened,” Jessica argued wildly.

“Then explain it perfectly Jessica,” Liam challenged her.

“For everyone currently watching online,” Emily narrated dramatically. “We are seeing partially recovered security footage from the exact night Mrs Sterling was severely injured. The clear reflection appears to show Brenda Carter violently pushing Mrs Sterling to the marble floor.”

“You cannot legally say that Emily,” Brenda panicked. “You are not an official judge.”

“No,” Emily smiled. “But the millions of viewers can clearly see it. They are loudly saying Brenda Carter lied to everyone. Jessica absolutely knew. Call the police immediately.”

“Stop reading those stupid comments,” Jessica shrieked.

“Funny Jessica,” I noted. “You absolutely loved the comments when they blindly hated me.”

“There is more footage rendering,” Carlos announced.

“No please no,” Brenda begged.

“Nope do not stop Carlos,” I said.

“She violently took it first,” Grandma Margaret said watching the screen. “She completely took the diamond necklace before ever calling for medical help.”

“I am officially calling Detective Miller right now,” Liam said pulling out his phone.

“Mrs Sterling please forgive me,” Brenda sobbed on the floor. “I violently panicked. I was incredibly poor. I was highly desperate.”

“You purposely let me believe I completely owed you my entire life,” Grandma Margaret said her voice shaking with anger.

“You do owe me,” Brenda screamed defensively. “I came back to check on you did I not?”

“You only came back to check if your helpless victim was finally dead,” I stated coldly.

“New trending topic online,” Emily announced. “Brenda Carter violently lied. Another one. Complete justice for Margaret Sterling.”

“No no no,” Jessica panicked grabbing her hair. “This is highly edited footage. Olivia Sterling paid them illegally to fake this.”

“This is an unedited live stream Jessica,” Emily corrected her dryly.

“Jessica you ruined absolutely everything for us,” Brenda yelled at her daughter.

“You did that completely yourself mom,” Jessica yelled back.

“One more clean fragment,” Carlos announced. “North Hall, Olivia’s private bedroom.”

“Why do you look so incredibly scared Jessica?” I asked looking at the frozen frame.

“Mrs Sterling is physically blocking Jessica at the bedroom door,” Emily narrated.

“That clip was taken completely out of context,” Jessica stammered nervously.

“Then explain the exact context of violently slapping an old woman in the face,” I demanded angrily.

“Servant room dark hallway. Eleven forty eight at night,” Carlos played the video.

“No stop it,” Jessica screamed covering her face.

“Explain it Jessica,” Liam pressed her.

“She aggressively grabbed my arm first,” Jessica lied.

“The clear footage shows Mrs Sterling standing passively in front of the door,” Emily narrated to the millions watching. “Her fragile hands are completely down.”

“You do not know what terrible things she said to me,” Jessica argued desperately.

“What exactly could she say that made you violently slap a seventy six year old woman Jessica?” I asked stepping very close to her.

“I told her not to enter your private room,” Jessica cried. “I said the things of your dead mother were safely inside.”

“And you acted like I was common dirt,” Grandma Margaret said quietly.

“I said the room was highly private,” Jessica defended herself. “Sacred. Family only. That is what people like you always say when you really mean poor girls stay out.”

“No Jessica,” I corrected her firmly. “It meant common thieves stay completely out.”

“The online comments are furiously asking how many times did Jessica violently hurt her when the security cameras were not actively watching,” Emily read aloud.

“They are rapidly turning on me because you are showing highly fake clips,” Jessica accused me.

“Security footage metadata is completely intact,” Carlos confirmed showing the screen. “Time, date, specific camera, original source.”

“Mom please say something to help me,” Jessica begged.

“Jessica was very young,” Brenda tried weakly. “She made a terrible mistake.”

“She was twenty two years old Brenda,” Liam noted again. “She was old enough to know exactly what pain is.”

“After that terrible day I stopped going upstairs entirely,” Grandma Margaret confessed.

“Grandma I am so sorry,” I said holding her hand.

“I was deeply ashamed Olivia,” she cried. “I thought if I told you the violent truth you would somehow blame yourself for leaving me.”

“I do blame myself Grandma,” I said fighting back tears. “But absolutely not for their violent crimes.”

“You think one simple slap makes me a horrible monster?” Jessica screamed at the camera.

“Jessica there are many more clips being rapidly recovered,” Carlos warned her.

“Recovered file servant room dark hallway eleven forty eight at night,” Carlos clicked play.

“Play it Carlos,” I ordered.

“No please,” Jessica sobbed.

“You threw away her vital heart medicine Jessica,” I yelled watching the screen.

“The district attorney office is officially watching the live stream right now,” Liam announced reading a text message.

“For all viewers currently watching,” Emily narrated. “Jessica Carter clearly appears to casually throw away the daily medication of Mrs Sterling into the trash.”

“It was completely expired medicine,” Jessica lied quickly.

“Was it actually expired Jessica?” Liam asked stepping forward like a prosecutor.

“It was my prescribed heart medication,” Grandma Margaret confirmed.

“That drastically changes the entire legal case,” Emily said looking shocked.

“I did not know what it was,” Jessica panicked. “How was I supposed to know exactly what old people take daily?”

“Because the plastic bottle had her exact legal name printed clearly on it,” I shouted.

“People are loudly saying this is absolutely not a simple misunderstanding,” Emily read from the tablet. “This is severe calculated abuse.”

“Stop reading those stupid comments Emily,” Jessica demanded.

“You absolutely loved my massive audience when they blindly hated me Jessica,” I reminded her.

“Jessica your talent management agency just released a massive public statement,” Carlos read from his screen.

“What statement?” Jessica asked her face completely white.

“Effective immediately we are fully suspending all brand collaborations with Jessica Carter pending a severe criminal investigation,” Carlos read aloud.

“No they cannot legally do that to me,” Jessica panicked pulling out her phone. “Jessica Sterling Lifestyle. Manhattan Bloodline. True luxury is my absolute birthright.”

“Birthright?” I laughed a very cold laugh. “You violently stole a powerful name, a private room, a custom wardrobe, expensive jewelry, and the dignity of an old woman.”

“You had way too much wealth,” Jessica spat viciously.

“And that magically made it yours to take?” I asked incredulously.

“Stop talking Jessica,” Brenda pleaded pulling her arm.

“You excitedly told me we strongly deserved much better,” Jessica yelled at her mother.

“New trending topic number one,” Emily announced. “Fake Manhattan Heiress. And another one right behind it. Complete Justice for Grandma Margaret.”

“No I painstakingly built that massive account,” Jessica cried watching her follower count plummet.

“I built absolutely everything on completely stolen ground,” I corrected her.

“The district attorney office is still actively watching the live stream,” Liam reminded them both.

Jessica gasped and started panting heavily.

“We were the ones actively here,” Brenda tried one last desperate plea. “We were the ones physically feeding her daily.”

“You fed me pure absolute fear Brenda,” Grandma Margaret said strongly.

“Fine talk terribly about me,” Brenda yelled at the camera. “But directly ask Olivia where exactly she was for all those long years. Ask her why her grandmother was so incredibly lonely that she let total strangers stay in her home. Olivia Sterling did not come home until someone finally touched her expensive things.”

“Miss Sterling do you want to publicly respond to that accusation?” Emily asked me softly.

“You do not have to answer that on live camera Olivia,” Liam advised me quietly.

“No Liam I absolutely do,” I said stepping directly into the camera frame.

“I was gone way too much,” I admitted openly looking straight into the lens. “I took over my family company rapidly after my beloved mother died. I foolishly told myself Grandma was completely safe because I paid highly trained people to help her daily. I was incredibly wrong.”

“Exactly!” Brenda yelled triumphantly. “You completely abandoned her. I failed her.”

“You violently abused her Brenda,” I corrected her sharply. “There is a massive difference. We were the ones here. We were the ones feeding her.”

“You fed me pure fear,” Grandma Margaret repeated firmly. “I was incredibly lonely. That part is absolutely true. But deep loneliness does not make violent cruelty into sweet love.”

“I did not tell Olivia because I did not want her to falsely blame herself,” Grandma Margaret said to the camera. “That was my biggest mistake.”

“No Grandma,” I said hugging her tightly. “We both made honest mistakes. But they made violently calculated choices.”

“Viewers are loudly saying Olivia openly admitted her mistake,” Emily narrated the shifting tide. “Jessica still has not admitted anything. Another viewer says simple neglect is absolutely not the same as violent abuse.”

“You all just love to watch rich tears fall,” Jessica screamed at the camera crew.

“No Jessica,” Emily corrected her firmly. “They absolutely hate violent liars.”

“Then maybe they should closely see what kind of terrible company you actually run Olivia,” Jessica smiled an evil smile.

“What exactly did you do Jessica?” I demanded.

“Breaking news alert,” Carlos read rapidly from his tablet. “Sterling Group CEO violently abuses staff at home. What truly happens inside her massive company?”

“You aggressively took the jewelry of my dead daughter and cruelly told me grief made me incredibly weak,” Grandma Margaret confronted Brenda.

“Olivia the corporate board just saw the new post from Jessica,” Liam said answering his vibrating phone. “They are aggressively demanding an emergency response right now.”

“Oops,” Jessica smirked.

“Tell the corporate board I am currently very busy exposing an active crime scene,” I told Liam without breaking eye contact with Jessica.

“That is absolutely not the professional response they expected Olivia,” Liam warned me.

“It is the exact one they will get today,” I said firmly.

“Mrs Sterling do you want to continue speaking?” Emily asked gently. “You absolutely do not have to.”

“I have been completely silent long enough Emily,” Grandma Margaret said sitting up very straight. “When Brenda first came to this massive house I genuinely thought she was incredibly kind. I was very kind to you Brenda.”

“You were only kind when Olivia called on the phone,” Brenda argued weakly. “You were horribly cruel when no one actively watched us.”

“You constantly told me I was too old, highly confused, and totally useless,” Grandma Margaret accused her pointing a frail finger.

“That is not true Margaret,” Brenda stammered.

“Do not ever speak over me again,” Grandma Margaret commanded with surprising strength. “You forcefully moved me completely out of my own master bedroom. You aggressively locked my doors. You brutally took the jewelry of my dead daughter and cruelly told me my grief made me incredibly weak. And I foolishly let Olivia believe I was perfectly fine.”

“Grandma I was deeply ashamed,” I said crying softly.

“If anyone watching this live broadcast has been made terribly afraid in their own private home please hear me clearly,” Grandma Margaret spoke directly to the millions watching. “Basic kindness is absolutely not permission for severe abuse.”

“People are rapidly writing Grandma Sterling we completely believe you,” Emily read wiping a tear from her own eye. “Another viewer says my sweet mother went through this exact terror too.”

“You incredibly ungrateful old woman,” Brenda finally snapped dropping her fake sweet act completely.

“There she actually is,” I noted calmly.

“I gave you my best years Margaret,” Brenda yelled.

“You gave me pure fear and falsely called it loving care,” Grandma Margaret replied strongly.

“Detective Miller is finally here,” Carlos announced opening the heavy front doors. “Because live stream confessions are still highly admissible legal confessions.”

“Brenda Carter,” Detective Miller walked in flashing his gold badge. “Why exactly are detectives here?”

“Jessica Carter,” another detective said right behind him. “We strongly need to ask you both some very serious questions.”

“We did not do anything illegal officer,” Brenda lied smoothly acting calm again.

“Then answer the simple questions Brenda,” I challenged her.

“Wait Mrs Sterling please tell them I am innocent,” Brenda begged turning back to my grandmother.

“I already did Brenda,” Grandma Margaret said coldly.

“Olivia tell them to stop this right now,” Jessica panicked as the detectives moved closer.

“You desperately wanted the news cameras Jessica,” I smiled tightly. “Now smile beautifully for them. This is absolutely not over. Rick has things you strongly do not want anyone to see.”

“Find Rick immediately Carlos,” I ordered.

“She was aggressively waiting for me to finally die,” Grandma Margaret whispered looking at Brenda being questioned.

“Not anymore Grandma,” I promised her.

“You were inside a highly private residence completely without permission Rick,” Liam told the strange man sitting in the police interrogation room the next day.

“Brenda happily invited me over,” Rick slurred defensively crossing his arms.

“And the missing expensive antiques?” Liam pressed him slamming a folder on the metal table.

“I did not steal anything valuable,” Rick denied quickly.

“Then start explaining perfectly before Brenda cleverly makes you the entire story,” Liam advised him coldly.

“Rick Jenkins is trending rapidly now,” Carlos noted checking his tablet in the observation room. “People are actively asking who exactly he is.”

“Then let him answer publicly,” I said watching through the two way glass.

“Detective,” Rick spoke loudly into the microphone on the table. “Brenda clearly told me Margaret Sterling was officially going to transfer the massive house to her.”

“She was aggressively waiting for me to die,” Grandma Margaret had said. Not anymore.

“Brenda said the old lady was incredibly grateful,” Rick continued sweating heavily under the bright lights. “Said the billionaire granddaughter was never around anyway.”

“And you fully believed they gave you explicit permission to throw wild parties there?” Detective Miller asked skeptically.

“She said it was basically completely hers now,” Rick defended himself.

“Do you officially recognize this document Rick?” Liam asked sliding a paper across the table.

“That gratitude transfer thing?” Rick asked squinting at it.

“You clearly signed it as an official witness,” Liam pointed to the signature line.

“I did not know it was completely fake,” Rick panicked.

“Brenda strictly told me to sign it,” Rick explained rapidly. “She said once Margaret signed we would all be completely taken care of financially for life.”

“Say that incredibly clearly Rick,” Liam demanded leaning over the table.

“Brenda Carter actively planned to get Margaret Sterling to legally sign over the massive house,” Rick stated loudly.

“Did Jessica actively know about this plan?” Liam asked.

“Rick do not say anything else,” a public defender advised him but Rick ignored him.

“Jessica said the old lady was incredibly easy to brutally scare into doing things,” Rick confessed.

“Get me that audio recording Carlos,” I said from the observation room.

“There is much more Miss Olivia,” Carlos typed rapidly.

“Rick says he has a saved audio message directly from Brenda,” Liam noted reading the file.

“Olivia is way too busy playing important CEO,” Brenda said in the audio playback. “By the time she finally notices it will be completely too late.”

“Do not carry that heavy guilt Olivia,” Liam said to me softly. “I should have noticed much sooner.”

“Voice message directly from Brenda Carter to Rick Jenkins sent exactly six weeks ago,” Carlos played the audio file for the detectives.

“You do not have to listen to this Olivia,” Liam offered.

“I absolutely do Liam,” I said firmly.

“The old lady will not last very long,” the voice of Brenda echoed terribly through the speakers. “Once she finally signs the papers Jessica and I are completely done begging for scraps. Olivia is way too busy playing big CEO. By the time she notices it will be totally too late.”

“Do not carry that guilt Olivia,” Liam repeated gently touching my shoulder. “I should have noticed.”

“She hid it very well Liam. I hid my absence very well. That is exactly how deep shame works,” I said quietly.

“This clear recording establishes hard intent,” Detective Miller stated writing notes. “And Rick is fully willing to authenticate it in open court.”

“Good,” Liam said decisively. “Then we officially stop treating this like a simple house dispute.”

“It is massive fraud, grand theft, severe elder abuse, and criminal conspiracy,” I listed the charges angrily.

“Rick is a notorious drunk,” Brenda yelled through the glass in the adjoining room. “He will say absolutely anything to save himself.”

“The old lady will not last very long,” Liam played her own voice back to her through the intercom. “Once she signs Jessica and I are done begging.”

“That was completely taken out of context,” Brenda tried to lie again.

“What possible context makes that sentence sound any better Brenda?” Liam asked coldly.

“Rick says you actively knew about the forged transfer agreement Jessica,” Detective Miller questioned the daughter in the third room.

“Rick says a lot of stupid things when he wants to selfishly save himself,” Jessica crossed her arms defiantly.

“He also says you called Mrs Sterling incredibly easy to aggressively scare,” Detective Miller noted.

“I want a strict protective order against them immediately,” I told Liam in the hallway.

“Are you absolutely sure Olivia?” Liam asked gently.

“I should have fiercely protected myself before,” I said strongly. “I absolutely will now.”

“I will file the heavy paperwork tonight,” Liam promised.

“Jessica is currently being released pending further deep investigation,” Carlos reported checking his police scanner.

“Already?” I asked frustrated. “From the police station front steps. They cannot legally hold me because I told the absolute truth to them.”

“Where exactly is she now Carlos?” I demanded.

“Front gate of the townhouse Miss Olivia,” Carlos said. “She is already here.”

“Jessica let us just go,” Brenda begged her daughter on the sidewalk.

“Let her go Brenda,” I said stepping out of the front door.

“No Olivia,” Jessica yelled. “She forcefully tells them the real truth or I do not move an inch.”

“Back at the grand mansion they stole from us,” a random blogger narrated holding up his phone.

“Miss Carter you are absolutely not legally allowed on this property,” Carlos warned stepping in front of her.

“My sweet mother is currently in police custody because of your massive lies Olivia,” Jessica screamed pointing at me.

“Grandma please stay inside,” I yelled back into the house. “I am completely done hiding from them.”

“Stop it Jessica,” Brenda pleaded nervously.

“Grandma Margaret please tell them to let my mother go,” Jessica yelled over Carlos shoulder. “You deeply know my mother loved you. You know she took great care of you.”

“She physically hurt me because you violently betrayed us,” Grandma Margaret said bravely stepping onto the porch.

“Back up Jessica,” Liam ordered placing himself between us.

“She does not even truly love you Margaret,” Jessica spat viciously. “She left you totally alone until it became a public embarrassment.”

“You are completely done using my deep guilt against me Jessica,” I said firmly.

“Jessica let us just go,” Brenda cried grabbing her arm.

“Let her go Brenda,” I repeated coldly.

“No,” Jessica screamed fighting her mother off. “She tells them the truth or I absolutely do not move.”

“Jessica this is physical assault,” Liam warned as she shoved Carlos. “You are completely on camera right now.”

“Good,” Jessica yelled wildly. “Film it all. Film exactly what happens when rich people brutally destroy poor families.”

“Jessica if you bruise her arm I swear you will deeply regret it,” I threatened stepping forward.

“What Olivia?” Jessica laughed crazily. “You will call more expensive lawyers?”

“You are physically hurting me,” Brenda cried as Jessica shoved her out of the way.

“Get your hands completely off me,” Jessica screamed lunging toward my grandmother.

“Grandma are you hurt?” I asked catching her before she fell.

“Call Detective Miller immediately Carlos,” Liam ordered pulling out his phone. “Tell him she violently violated the protective order request before it was even formally filed.”

“I was supposed to be her wealthy granddaughter!” Jessica screamed breaking down on the sidewalk.

“What exactly did you just say Jessica?” I asked stunned.

“She loved me deeply before you came back from Europe Olivia,” Jessica cried pointing at the house. “This massive house, this powerful name, this luxurious life. It should have been completely mine.”

“You did not just want the grand mansion,” I realized softly. “You desperately wanted my entire life.”

“You think I am the evil villain because I simply wanted more for myself?” Jessica screamed crying heavily.

“No Jessica,” I said calmly. “Because you brutally hurt someone much weaker than you to get it.”

“Do you heavily know what it is strictly like to stand inside a massive mansion and deeply know none of it will ever be yours?” Jessica sobbed loudly.

“Yes Jessica,” I answered quietly. “I stood right here in this foyer after my beloved mother died and deeply knew no amount of money could ever bring her back to me. Having nice things does not mean having absolutely everything.”

“Easy to quickly say when you already have all the nice things,” Jessica spat bitterly wiping her face.

“People online are saying Jessica just fully admitted she actively wanted the life of Olivia,” Carlos read from his tablet.

“Stop violently twisting my words around,” Jessica yelled at the cameras.

“You literally said the massive house, the powerful name, and the luxurious life should have been yours,” Liam reminded her calmly.

“I deeply cared about you Margaret,” Jessica cried softly.

“No Jessica,” Grandma Margaret said sadly. “You simply pitied me. I let you stay inside my home because I genuinely thought you needed deep help.”

“And I absolutely did need help,” Jessica argued defensively.

“Real help is a warm room Jessica,” I corrected her. “Not a completely stolen identity. You came back and violently ruined absolutely everything.”

“No Jessica,” I said firmly standing tall. “I came back and successfully found exactly what you completely ruined.”

“You deeply think my life is totally over Olivia?” Jessica laughed a crazy bitter laugh. “Check your fancy phones right now.”

“Anonymous massive leak,” Carlos read rapidly. “Sterling Group company severely under investigation for massive employee abuse.”

“That is absolutely not true at all,” I said shocked.

“It does not matter if it is true Olivia,” Jessica smiled wickedly. “It is completely out there now.”

“Olivia the corporate board heavily wants you removed temporarily as CEO,” Liam said checking his buzzing phone.

“No Liam,” I said firmly pacing the room. “Absolutely no.”

“From poor maid’s daughter to fake wealthy heiress how Jessica Carter successfully built a luxury lie,” the news anchors chanted on the television.

“The massive company is being brutally dragged directly into your highly personal scandal Olivia,” the lead board member yelled through the speakerphone.

“It only became a massive company issue because Jessica aggressively fabricated one,” I argued loudly back at the phone.

“Fabricated or not the public trust in our brand is rapidly collapsing,” the board member countered angrily.

“Our stock dipped three entire percent directly after the anonymous leak published,” Liam noted looking at his financial screen.

“Read the anonymous leak closely,” I told Liam pointing at the tablet.

“Sterling Group CEO allegedly mistreats hard working employees the exact same way she violently abused her grandmother’s loving caregiver,” Liam read the headline out loud.

“Allegedly is exactly where cheap cowards hide their lies,” I stated coldly crossing my arms.

“We strongly recommend you step back completely until this massive scandal settles,” the board member insisted forcefully.

“No,” I replied calmly.

“If the corporate board actively wants me removed call a formal binding vote,” I challenged the speakerphone. “And while you cowards quickly decide whether you are terribly afraid of cheap online gossip I will be busy actively finding the person who maliciously planted it.”

“That was terrifyingly strong Olivia,” Liam smiled slightly after I ended the call.

“Good,” I said staring out the window. “Brand partnership officially terminated. Account strictly under review. Agency suspension completely confirmed.”

“No no no,” Jessica was heard screaming on her own live stream. “From maid’s daughter to fake heiress how Jessica Carter successfully built a luxury lie.”

“She completely used me too,” Brenda cried on another channel.

“Pack your stolen things Jessica,” Brenda yelled at her daughter on the sidewalk. “We rapidly need to leave town today.”

“No mom,” Jessica yelled back aggressively.

“Jessica we completely lost the game,” Brenda sobbed heavily.

“You lost the game mom,” Jessica sneered wickedly. “I am absolutely not done yet.”

“What exactly did you do now Jessica?” Brenda panicked looking terrified.

“Anonymous fake documents delivered directly to the Sterling Group corporate board,” Jessica smiled a dark evil smile.

“What specific documents Jessica?” Brenda demanded shaking her.

“Exactly enough documents to make Olivia violently bleed,” Jessica laughed terribly.

“This fake complaint was originally about a terminated aggressive manager,” Liam noted comparing files on his laptop. “The highly edited version of Jessica explicitly says it was entirely about you Olivia.”

“Emily Davis heavily wants a public comment before she airs the company allegations of Jessica live,” Carlos reported checking his emails.

“What specific allegations Carlos?” I asked rubbing my tired temples.

“Hostile corporate work culture, severe misuse of private security staff, vicious retaliation against domestic employees, and a massive pattern of ongoing intimidation,” Carlos read the long brutal list.

“She learned impressive corporate words incredibly overnight,” Liam observed sarcastically.

“The massive problem is some old genuine internal complaints are tightly attached to her leak,” Liam pointed at the screen. “Real complaints, real HR forms, completely twisted context.”

“This real complaint was about a totally terminated manager,” I repeated looking at the paperwork. “The highly edited version of Jessica explicitly says it was about me.”

“This one loudly says private security forcefully escorted the employee out,” Liam read another file. “The post of Jessica explicitly says Olivia casually uses private armed guards to violently threaten poor workers.”

“Where exactly did she get these highly confidential files?” I asked frustrated.

“Someone with high level access to the old HR corporate archives,” Liam guessed clicking rapidly.

“Brenda used to come to the charity events often,” Grandma Margaret remembered softly. “Jessica aggressively volunteered once at the foundation office and clearly stole much more than expensive handbags.”

“Emily is generously giving you one single chance to publicly respond before this massive story airs live,” Carlos warned looking at the ticking clock.

“Read the strongest claim of Jessica,” I ordered Liam pacing the room.

“Jessica claims Olivia Sterling actively uses massive wealth, expensive lawyers, and armed security to violently silence poor working class women,” Liam read grimly.

“And what exactly did your security cameras strictly record her doing?” I asked Carlos pointing at the monitors. “Violently threatening her fragile grandmother, brutally lying about expensive property, and reacting terribly to hard video evidence.”

“Then we air both her wild accusations and my hard evidence with full context,” I decided firmly.

“Olivia,” Liam warned gently.

“No edits Emily,” I told the reporter over the phone.

“Agreed Miss Sterling,” Emily responded eagerly.

“You just actively invited a massive public corporate trial Olivia,” Liam sighed heavily rubbing his face.

“No Liam,” I corrected him sharply. “Jessica actively did.”

“The corporate board aggressively moved the emergency meeting to tonight,” Carlos announced reading a text.

“Good,” I smiled coldly. “Very good.”

“I really do not like patiently waiting to be actively stabbed in the back,” Liam muttered pacing behind me.

“Olivia this massive stunt could permanently cost you the entire company,” Liam warned stopping to look at me.

“Then I will finally find out exactly who thinks they can aggressively take my home and my company in the exact same week,” I said with absolute fierce determination.

“Olivia,” Grandma Margaret said softly holding out a small wooden box. “What is that Grandma?”

“Something your beloved mother specifically asked me to gracefully give you when you were completely ready,” she smiled warmly.

“My mother asked you this before she passed?” I asked my eyes filling rapidly with tears.

“And you patiently waited long years?” I asked opening it slowly.

“She explicitly said you would spend a very long time falsely pretending true strength meant not needing anyone at all,” Grandma Margaret explained gently.

“Read it Olivia,” Liam encouraged me softly.

“If I read it I might completely stop fighting,” I admitted quietly.

“My dearest Olivia,” the letter began in the elegant handwriting of my mother. “If you are hearing this directly from Liam Cross it means you are actively carrying way too much completely alone. You will falsely think the company desperately needs you much more than your tired heart does. You will be completely wrong. Take gentle care of your sweet grandmother not because she is physically weak but because true love heavily needs physical presence not just financial protection. And if you ever foolishly forget exactly how deeply loved you are simply ask Liam Cross. I completely trust him to tell you the brutal truth even when you absolutely hate him for it.”

“She completely trusted you Liam?” I asked wiping tears from my face looking at him.

“Yes Olivia she did,” Liam nodded softly stepping closer.

“And you never ever told me this?” I asked slightly angry but mostly relieved.

“You were never completely ready Olivia,” Liam explained gently touching my arm.

“That is highly convenient for a clever lawyer,” I noted wiping my eyes. “It is also completely true.”

“Did you originally stay working here just because of her request?” I asked searching his deep eyes.

“At first yes,” Liam admitted quietly. “Not anymore.”

“Liam we should quickly get you to the emergency board meeting,” Carlos interrupted checking his loud watch.

“Let people truly love you Olivia before you become a massive cold mansion with all the bright lights turned on and absolutely no one home,” Grandma Margaret advised softly kissing my wet cheek.

“Olivia,” Liam stopped at the large double doors turning back. “And if I ask you now?”

“Then I honestly answer you Liam,” I smiled a very small real smile.

“How long Liam?” I asked stepping forward.

“What exactly?” Liam asked pausing his exit.

“How long have you been actively watching over me strictly because my mother asked you to?” I asked softly looking up at him.

“Since the massive funeral Olivia,” Liam answered quietly. “It was ten long years ago.”

“I know,” I whispered grabbing his large hand.

“Every corporate merger, every massive lawsuit, every single time you magically showed up right before I even called you,” I listed the long memories.

“Yes Olivia,” Liam nodded squeezing my hand tightly.

“So I was just a professional job to you,” I stated pulling back slightly.

“No,” Liam stepped forward closing the distance completely.

“You just aggressively said yes,” I argued defensively crossing my arms.

“Your physical safety was a sacred promise Olivia,” Liam said intensely staring into my eyes. “You were absolutely never just a professional job.”

“That strictly sounds like something a very expensive charming lawyer would expertly say,” I challenged him softly.

“Then forcefully stop hearing the professional lawyer right now,” Liam said grabbing my shoulders gently. “Hear the man. I stayed working here originally because your mother asked me to. I kept staying here happily because every single time you proudly walked into a crowded room you acted like you did not need absolutely anyone.”

“Maybe I truly didn’t,” I whispered looking down at my feet.

“You absolutely did Olivia,” Liam corrected me lifting my chin gently. “You just never bravely asked.”

“And if I bravely ask right now?” I whispered looking directly into his deep eyes.

“Then I absolutely answer you,” Liam smiled warmly leaning in very close.

“Miss Sterling is your handsome family lawyer also romantically involved with you?” a loud paparazzi reporter yelled shoving a bright camera in our faces as we exited the tall building.

“Turn that camera completely off right now,” Carlos commanded aggressively stepping between us and the flash.

“Breaking alert,” the reporter yelled into his microphone. “Olivia Sterling caught actively in a highly intimate romantic moment with her attorney during an active massive investigation.”

“Of course this happens now,” I sighed heavily rubbing my temples.

“I will handle this completely Olivia,” Liam offered stepping in front of me protectively.

“No Liam we handle it completely together,” I said firmly grabbing his hand publicly.

“You deeply want a massive headline?” I challenged the aggressive reporter directly. “Use this specific one. Hard video evidence matters much more than cheap romantic scandal.”

“Miss Sterling aggressive critics are already saying your lawyer has a massive conflict of interest,” the reporter yelled rapid questions.

“Critics type incredibly fast on keyboards,” I noted coldly staring at the lens.

“Is Liam Cross representing you professionally, personally, or highly romantically?” the reporter demanded loudly.

“That question is highly inappropriate,” Liam stated formally using his lawyer voice.

“No Liam it is highly predictable,” I corrected him calmly. “Liam Cross is the dedicated legal counsel of my family. He is also someone I completely deeply trust.”

“That is absolutely not a firm denial,” the reporter smirked sensing blood.

“Here is exactly what I will firmly deny,” I stated loudly so all cameras could hear. “I will absolutely not allow a severe criminal investigation into violent elder abuse to be conveniently buried under cheap gossip about exactly who stood too close to me in a crowded elevator.”

“You want a massive headline?” I repeated pointing at the main camera lens. “Use this exact one. Hard evidence matters infinitely more than cheap scandal.”

“Olivia in one single crazy week your household scandal became a severe elder abuse case, a massive corporate reputational crisis, and now a romantic conflict of interest headline,” Liam summarized pacing the large conference room.

“Incredibly efficient isn’t it Liam?” I smirked slightly sitting at the head of the heavy mahogany table.

“This is absolutely not funny Olivia,” Liam warned seriously checking his buzzing phone.

“No Liam,” I corrected him firmly. “What is actually funny is this corporate board heavily panicking over cheap headlines while a petty criminal aggressively used our foundation archive to magically fabricate corporate abuse claims.”

“Internal massive audit shows Jessica Carter aggressively accessed foundation storage during a highly publicized volunteer event exactly eighteen months ago,” Carlos reported displaying the digital logs on the massive screen. “The leaked documents perfectly match the files violently missing from that specific archive.”

“Even if absolutely true public confidence is severely damaged Olivia,” the lead board member argued loudly through the speakerphone.

“Then I will aggressively restore it publicly,” I stated confidently standing up from the heavy chair.

“How exactly Olivia?” the board member demanded skeptically.

“Massive press conference tomorrow bright and early in the morning,” I announced checking my watch. “Full press allowed.”

“Olivia that generously gives them one more entire night to aggressively attack us,” Liam cautioned pacing faster.

“Good Liam,” I smiled a very cold calculating smile. “Let them completely panic tonight. Panicked people make incredibly huge mistakes.”

“Olivia Sterling to forcefully hold a massive press conference amid severe abuse and conflict scandal,” the news ticker read brightly on the wall monitor.

“Then I will finally give her something to publicly confess,” Jessica was seen actively typing on her live stream.

“This highly fake document proves Olivia paid people heavily to completely fake the security footage,” Jessica proudly showed a paper to her millions of followers.

“That document is totally fake,” Liam noted adjusting his expensive tie.

“Then let her publicly present it tomorrow,” I said calmly pouring a glass of cold water. “Once you aggressively start the press conference do not let them fiercely drag you into cheap gossip.”

“They can absolutely try their best,” I smiled sipping the water.

“Jessica just proudly posted again,” Carlos read rapidly from his tablet. “Read it aloud Carlos.”

“Exclusive massive leak,” Carlos read the loud headline. “Olivia Sterling company actively covered up employee abuse complaints for many long years.”

“Right on perfect time,” Liam noted checking his watch.

“Miss Sterling did you violently abuse your grandmother’s loving caregiver?” Emily Davis asked aggressively the second I stepped onto the bright podium the next morning.

“Is your handsome attorney also your secret romantic partner?” another loud reporter shouted over her.

“Will you forcefully step down as CEO today?” a third voice demanded loudly.

“I will efficiently answer the exact question everyone is cowardly avoiding today,” I spoke clearly into the microphone silencing the loud room instantly. “What is the exact difference between a hard worker and a violent criminal?”

“A hard worker deserves ultimate dignity,” I stated firmly looking at the flashing cameras. “A violent criminal aggressively uses dignity as a cheap disguise.”

“Property deed strictly belongs to the Sterling Trust managing beneficiary Olivia Sterling,” I announced projecting the heavy documents onto the massive screen behind me.

“Recovered security footage clearly shows Brenda Carter actively at the locked jewelry cabinet well before Margaret Sterling violently fell,” I narrated as the video played for the silent room.

“Recovered footage explicitly shows Jessica Carter violently striking Margaret Sterling directly outside my private bedroom,” the next terrible clip played loudly.

“That is absolutely not hard labor,” I stated coldly looking at the shocked reporters. “That is violent severe abuse.”

“What about the Sterling Group massive employee abuse allegations?” Emily Davis shouted rapidly trying to recover the narrative.

“Let us talk openly about those allegations,” I agreed pointing a remote at the massive screen. “Internal corporate audit clearly shows leaked complaint files were illegally taken from the Sterling Foundation archives aggressively accessed by Jessica Carter during a charity volunteer event exactly two months ago.”

“Original HR complaint number one was filed forcefully against a former angry manager after violent workplace threats,” I showed the real documents. “Not employee intimidation by the CEO.”

“Jessica Carter aggressively stole corporate context the exact same way she violently stole expensive jewelry,” I stated firmly staring down the cameras.

“And Liam Cross,” a reporter yelled from the back. “Is his legal judgment completely compromised by romance?”

“Liam Cross is my dedicated family attorney who explicitly disclosed his changing role to the corporate board this very morning,” I answered confidently. “He also bravely helped actively protect hard evidence when others aggressively tried to completely bury it.”

“Are you forcefully denying a personal romantic relationship?” Emily pressed aggressively holding her microphone high.

“I am firmly denying that my private romantic life changes exactly what Brenda and Jessica violently did to my fragile grandmother,” I answered coldly silencing her completely.

“Emily is actively live outside the federal courthouse,” Carlos whispered rapidly in my ear. “Jessica just brazenly showed up there.”

“Read the loud headline Carlos,” I ordered without breaking eye contact with the press.

“Jessica Carter loudly claims she has absolute hard proof Olivia Sterling entirely fabricated the massive abuse narrative,” Carlos read quietly.

“Put it up on the massive screen immediately,” I commanded pointing the remote.

“Jessica Carter’s final definitive evidence,” the screen flashed brightly behind me.

“This highly faked document proves Olivia heavily paid people to completely fake the security footage,” Jessica yelled triumphantly at the cameras holding up a piece of paper.

“That document is absolutely fake,” Liam whispered leaning close to me.

“Then let her publicly present it on national television and let everyone gleefully watch it collapse entirely,” I whispered back smiling coldly.

“Miss Carter we strictly need to deeply talk about that specific document,” Detective Miller stepped into the frame stopping Jessica aggressively.

“I am generously giving you hard evidence,” Jessica argued loudly to the cameras.

“And if it is completely forged you are aggressively creating illegal evidence,” Detective Miller stated firmly taking the paper from her shaking hands.

“This highly fake invoice for video reconstruction services heavily paid by Sterling Group,” Jessica read aloud from memory.

“Miss Sterling did you heavily pay to aggressively reconstruct the security footage?” Emily shouted turning back to me.

“That invoice sequence number is completely wrong,” Liam announced stepping directly up to the microphone. “I personally wrote the preservation order. That specific tech vendor was absolutely never hired by the Sterling Group.”

“You are absolutely sure?” Emily asked shocked.

“Jessica where exactly did you get this highly fake invoice?” Detective Miller demanded loudly on the screen.

“An inside corporate source,” Jessica lied nervously.

“Name the source immediately,” Detective Miller ordered firmly.

“I am actively protecting my confidential source,” Jessica argued weakly backing away from the cameras.

“Miss Carter we strictly need to heavily talk about that specific document,” Detective Miller repeated grabbing her arm firmly.

“I am generously giving you evidence,” Jessica cried desperately.

“And if it is entirely forged you are illegally creating false evidence,” Detective Miller stated forcefully arresting her on the spot.

“We got a massive hit on the missing expensive antiques Miss Olivia,” Carlos interrupted loudly running up to the podium.

“Where exactly Carlos?” I demanded urgently.

“A locked storage unit securely under the name of Brenda Carter,” Carlos read the police report aloud. “Located in East Queens. Rental officially started exactly eight months ago.”

“The beloved faces of my grandfather,” I whispered emotionally. “We are finally going to aggressively find them.”

“I will get a strict search warrant fast tracked immediately,” Liam promised pulling his phone out.

“The press conference is temporarily paused,” I announced firmly into the microphone. “Collecting hard evidence is absolutely not.”

“Sterling silver expensive dining room set,” Detective Miller read from a recovered notebook later that day. “Sell entirely later.”

“Arthur,” Grandma Margaret cried softly gently touching a recovered painting.

“Massive payments directly from Mrs Sterling,” Liam noted reading a small black ledger found in the storage unit.

“Read it aloud Liam,” I commanded pacing the small room.

“Medication delivery twelve hundred dollars,” Liam read the steep fake charges. “Plumbing emergency four thousand dollars. Jessica college tuition ten thousand dollars.”

“I paid all of those massive bills,” Grandma Margaret admitted crying softly.

“And she meticulously recorded every single stolen dollar she aggressively took after the transfer,” Liam observed grimly flipping pages.

“She was excitedly waiting for the forged house document to clear,” I realized coldly.

“When exactly?” Liam asked checking the dates.

“Emergency caregiver massive bonus. Eight thousand dollars,” Liam read the final entry.

“I do not remember paying that specific amount,” Grandma Margaret frowned deeply.

“Grandma did Brenda ever aggressively tell you she needed massive money urgently?” I asked gently sitting beside her.

“Many long times Olivia,” Grandma Margaret sighed heavily. “Her daughter’s expensive school, her cousin’s terrible surgery, her late rent, her mounting debt.”

“This is absolutely not simple desperation,” Liam stated firmly closing the ledger. “This is a massive calculated criminal system.”

“Expensive jewelry inventory list,” Carlos read another page. “Pink diamond glowing necklace. Blue sapphire heavy pendant. Pearl custom clutch. Sell only strictly after official transfer.”

“After official transfer,” I repeated the words coldly.

“She was aggressively waiting for the forged house document,” Liam confirmed.

“When?” I asked again demanding a timeline.

“After she cruelly said the local pharmacy absolutely would not securely deliver my heart medicine unless I signed multiple blank papers,” Grandma Margaret revealed crying softly.

“That may be exactly how she cleverly built the massively forged gratitude transfer deed,” Liam theorized tapping his chin.

“We finally found your private accounting ledger Brenda,” Detective Miller stated firmly slapping the black book onto the interrogation table.

“It is simple innocent household accounting,” Brenda lied smoothly refusing to flinch.

“Jessica fake influencer expensive wardrobe three thousand dollars heavily paid by Margaret Sterling,” Detective Miller read the entries aloud. “Rick apartment cleanup two thousand dollars heavily paid by Margaret Sterling.”

“Mrs Sterling desperately wanted to generously help us,” Brenda argued defending herself fiercely.

“Get her to forcefully sign before Olivia finally comes back from Europe,” Detective Miller read a very damaging text message from her phone.

“Do you actively know what it is truly like to aggressively scrub dirty floors directly under expensive chandeliers worth significantly more than your entire poor life?” Brenda shouted angrily breaking her calm facade.

“That absolutely does not answer the criminal question Brenda,” Detective Miller stated calmly crossing his arms.

“I worked incredibly hard,” Brenda yelled wildly pacing the small room. “I waited incredibly patiently. I enviously watched them selfishly waste massive empty rooms they absolutely never even used once.”

“So you brutally decided grand theft was basic fairness,” Detective Miller summarized perfectly.

“Liam,” I called out running into his office. “Residential interest forged transfer completely executed copy officially found.”

“Executed?” Liam asked his eyes widening in pure shock.

“I did not actively sign that document Liam,” Grandma Margaret stated firmly standing tall.

“Rick heavily witnessed it,” Liam pointed at the sloppy signature line.

“Then we forcefully bring Rick back into the interrogation room immediately,” I ordered aggressively.

“Who exactly is texting you Jessica?” Detective Miller asked noticing her buzzing phone in the adjacent room.

“It aggressively says if Jessica violently goes down so do you Brenda,” Detective Miller read the intercepted message aloud.

“Signature is absolutely on this document,” Rick slurred defensively looking at the deed.

“Brenda smoothly told me it was just basic legal paperwork,” Rick lied nervously sweating heavily.

“Legal paperwork that massively transfers his financial interest in a multi million dollar Manhattan home,” Liam noted sarcastically leaning over the metal table.

“I did not actively read it carefully okay,” Rick admitted defensively shrinking back. “I fully knew it was highly shady but Brenda forcefully said the old lady completely agreed to everything.”

“Please perfectly summarize your expert findings Dr Morris,” Liam requested firmly in the packed courtroom the very next month.

“The signature is a very sloppy simulation,” Dr Morris the forensic expert stated clearly adjusting her glasses. “It poorly imitates the exact handwriting of Mrs Sterling but completely lacks her highly natural age tremor pattern.”

“In very plain language Dr Morris?” Liam asked turning to face the quiet jury.

“It is completely and absolutely forged,” Dr Morris confirmed loudly.

“I was so incredibly afraid I had mistakenly signed it and terribly forgotten,” Grandma Margaret cried softly hugging me tightly in the front row.

“You did not give them your beautiful home Grandma,” I whispered back fiercely.

“They aggressively tried to violently take it from you,” Liam added gently.

“Who specifically prepared the forged document Rick?” the harsh prosecutor demanded loudly.

“Rick,” Brenda yelled furiously jumping up from her defense table. “Massive forgery of elder financial documents is absolutely not a simple misunderstanding.”

“Brenda had the blank template completely ready,” Rick confessed sweating profusely avoiding her angry glare. “Jessica cleverly helped directly with the fake signature. She boasted she had watched Margaret carefully sign bank checks a hundred times.”

“Jessica actively helped?” I asked shocked looking at the young girl shrinking in her seat.

“And she kept aggressively saying do it quickly before Olivia finally comes back,” Rick added pointing a shaking finger directly at Jessica.

“Ray says Jessica explicitly helped actively forge the signature Brenda,” Detective Miller stated firmly showing Brenda the formal confession.

“Jessica?” Brenda gasped dropping her aggressive facade entirely. “She simply wanted my luxurious life Detective.”

“We are officially adding massive forgery and criminal conspiracy charges completely against both of you,” the prosecutor announced loudly to the silent courtroom.

“Good,” I stated coldly staring directly at them.

“Who is it?” Brenda yelled frantically grabbing Jessica by the arm. “It explicitly says if Jessica violently goes down so do you. Tell Olivia to forcefully stop this.”

“Unknown burner number,” Carlos reported tracing the aggressive text message.

“You desperately wanted to be Mrs Sterling so incredibly badly Jessica,” I challenged her fiercely during the tense recess. “Do it. Then I will go totally live right now.”

“Rick says Jessica actively helped aggressively forge the signature,” the angry prosecutor repeated loudly pointing at the massive screen displaying the evidence.

“No,” Jessica screamed hysterically covering her ears wildly.

“He explicitly says you carefully planned the massive transfer completely before Olivia came back,” the prosecutor pressed aggressively refusing to stop.

“Jessica absolutely did not fully know what she was actively doing,” Brenda pleaded desperately crying real tears for the first time.

“She is twenty two years old Brenda,” Liam stated firmly cutting off her excuse.

“I violently did it,” Brenda yelled suddenly standing up abruptly. “Put everything heavily on me. Leave her alone.”

“Jessica Carter violently breaks her silence,” Emily Davis announced on her evening show. “Raised by a highly desperate criminal mother and unfairly targeted by a ruthless billionaire heiress.”

“Good Emily,” I smiled coldly watching the television. “Make me look incredibly brutally honest.”

“My aggressive mother completely controlled absolutely everything,” Jessica cried heavily on the live interview. “I was just a scared young kid trying desperately to barely survive.”

“What exactly did you just say to her?” Brenda yelled fiercely throwing her hands up during the tense pre trial meeting.

“I just forcefully told the local police you absolutely did not actively know anything mom,” Jessica yelled back defensively shrinking away.

“You absolutely should have fully known,” Brenda screamed angrily her face bright red. “I aggressively protected you.”

“You selfishly protected yourself mom,” Jessica fired back violently standing up. “You desperately wanted that massive house just as much as I did.”

“I desperately wanted a much better life for us Jessica,” Brenda cried softly breaking down entirely.

“No mom,” Jessica sneered wickedly showing her true dark colors. “You desperately wanted to aggressively be Margaret Sterling.”

“Do it Jessica,” I challenged her coldly from the doorway. “Then I will go completely live and show exactly who the real monster is.”

“You will brutally blame me for absolutely everything,” Brenda sobbed heavily holding her face. “You are the responsible adult mom. You aggressively forged that fake signature. You proudly taught me exactly how to do it.”

“What exact monster have I terribly made?” Brenda cried out dropping to her knees in total defeat.

“Someone who absolutely refuses to ever be poor again mom,” Jessica stated coldly lacking any empathy at all.

“What happens right now Liam?” I asked softly standing in the quiet hallway outside the loud courtroom.

“Official notice of disciplinary academic review from her university,” Liam read the newly arrived email aloud. “Massive allegations include financial fraud, identity misrepresentation, and severe conduct harmful to a fragile elderly person.”

“It is completely over for her,” I sighed heavily feeling a strange mix of deep relief and profound exhaustion.

“No Olivia,” Liam corrected me gently. “Now she has absolutely nothing left to quickly lose.”

“I aggressively want one last exclusive interview Emily,” Jessica demanded loudly on her live social media channel.

“Jessica you excitedly asked for this specific interview,” Emily stated firmly adjusting her bright microphone. “What exactly do you terribly want to publicly say today?”

“I desperately want millions of people to fully know I was horribly raised by a highly desperate crazy woman,” Jessica cried fake tears looking directly into the camera lens.

“You explicitly mean your own mother Brenda?” Emily clarified sharply narrowing her eyes.

“She forcefully told me rich people only purely understand raw violent power,” Jessica lied smoothly playing the ultimate victim. “She aggressively told me if we did not violently take what we deserved we would always remain completely invisible.”

“Did your mother explicitly tell you to violently slap Margaret Sterling in the face?” Emily asked aggressively refusing to let her control the narrative.

“I was very young and confused,” Jessica stammered nervously trying to dodge the hard question.

“You were precisely twenty two years old Jessica,” Emily corrected her firmly. “Did your mother explicitly tell you to aggressively throw away the vital heart medication of Margaret?”

“I absolutely did not know what it actually was,” Jessica lied frantically. “The plastic bottle merely had her name printed on it.”

“For proper context our dedicated team has fully verified the exact medication label directly through the official police report,” Emily announced to her massive audience effectively destroying the lie.

“You proudly said you desperately wanted my side of the story Emily,” Jessica yelled angrily breaking her innocent facade.

“I absolutely do Jessica,” Emily stated calmly. “I am actively asking incredibly hard questions exactly about your specific side.”

“I was incredibly poor,” Jessica yelled wildly losing total control. “I was violently angry. I watched Olivia magically have absolutely everything.”

“And fragile Margaret Sterling had to brutally pay for that extreme anger?” Emily pressed flawlessly landing the final massive blow.

“You also loudly claimed Olivia aggressively framed you,” Emily continued smoothly reading from her notes.

“She absolutely did,” Jessica screamed pointing aggressively at the camera. “The fake invoice you presented was cheaply generated directly from a basic online template site just yesterday morning. The specific account aggressively used to create it was directly linked to your personal email Olivia.”

“You absolutely do not deeply understand exactly what it truly feels like to almost fully be someone incredibly wealthy,” Jessica cried heavily completely exposing her massive jealousy.

“We just officially received previously unreleased security footage directly from the Sterling archives,” Emily announced dramatically shocking the entire room.

“What exact footage Emily?” Jessica panicked wildly her eyes darting aggressively around the studio.

“Jessica Carter standing directly outside the dark servant room explicitly saying old people are incredibly easy to violently scare,” Emily narrated as the terrible clip played loudly on the massive screen. “Would you desperately like to quickly explain that specific context before we broadcast it live to millions?”

“I never signed that document,” Jessica screamed hysterically pulling out her microphone aggressively.

“Today officially begins the massive Carter criminal case,” the television anchor announced solemnly the following week. “Severe elder abuse, grand theft, financial fraud, massive forgery, and criminal conspiracy occurring directly inside one of Manhattan’s most heavily watched luxury homes.”

“Mrs Sterling are you incredibly nervous today?” Liam asked gently holding her hand tightly outside the loud courtroom.

“Yes Liam,” she gasped softly. “But I am significantly more incredibly tired of being constantly afraid.”

“This massive case is absolutely not about incredibly rich versus incredibly poor,” the sharp prosecutor began her opening statement confidently pacing the quiet room. “It is explicitly about deep trust aggressively turned into unauthorized access, access violently turned into severe control, and control ultimately turned into massive grand theft.”

“My client Brenda was simply a loving caregiver who beautifully became chosen family,” the defense attorney argued weakly looking incredibly unsure.

“Let them foolishly use that specific word,” Liam whispered confidently to me. “The massive hard evidence absolutely hates it.”

“Exhibit A,” the prosecutor announced clearly. “Recovered clear footage. Brenda Carter actively at the locked jewelry cabinet well before Margaret Sterling violently fell.”

“Exhibit B,” she continued relentlessly showing the massive screen. “Clear reflection explicitly showing Brenda Carter aggressively pushing Margaret Sterling to the marble floor.”

“Exhibit C,” she finished flawlessly. “Jessica Carter violently striking Margaret Sterling directly outside the bedroom of Olivia Sterling.”

“Mrs Sterling why exactly didn’t you gently tell your granddaughter significantly sooner?” the prosecutor asked warmly during the direct examination.

“Because deep shame is incredibly terribly quiet,” Grandma Margaret answered bravely wiping a stray tear. “I genuinely thought if I openly admitted exactly what brutally happened I would also have to painfully admit I passively let it violently happen.”

“But basic human kindness is absolutely not legal consent,” Grandma Margaret stated firmly looking directly at the jury.

“Mrs Sterling is it explicitly true you freely signed simple documents for Brenda Carter previously?” the aggressive defense attorney pressed her trying to find a weak opening. “Is it highly possible you freely signed the massive transfer agreement and simply forgot due to your advanced age?”

“You are violently using her fragile memory directly against her,” Liam objected furiously jumping up.

“We formally submit the allegedly signed gratitude transfer agreement,” the defense attorney ignored him showing the paper.

“I absolutely did not sign that fake document,” Grandma Margaret stated flawlessly unbothered.

“Can you explicitly physically prove that Mrs Sterling?” the defense attorney challenged her aggressively.

“Brenda forcefully told me to blindly sign it,” Rick yelled out of turn from the back row. “Jessica boasted the fake signature looked close enough.”

“This fraudulent document falsely shows Mrs Sterling voluntarily granted massive residential interest to Brenda Carter,” the defense lawyer tried again.

“I absolutely did not freely sign it,” Grandma Margaret repeated firmly with quiet intense strength.

“Mrs Sterling you openly testified that certain parts of your fragile memory were completely unclear,” the defense attorney pushed aggressively crossing his arms. “So isn’t it highly possible you simply forgot?”

“Objection your honor,” Liam yelled authoritatively standing incredibly tall. “Argument is highly exploitative and argumentative.”

“Sustained,” the stern judge ruled banging her heavy wooden gavel loudly.

“The state confidently calls Dr Helen Morris,” the prosecutor announced formally. “Forensic expert.”

“Dr Morris please perfectly summarize your final conclusion,” the prosecutor asked politely.

“The signature is a very sloppy simulation,” Dr Morris stated clearly holding up the enlarged images. “It poorly imitates the exact handwriting of Mrs Sterling but completely lacks her highly natural age tremor pattern entirely.”

“In very plain language Dr Morris?” the prosecutor clarified for the quiet jury.

“It is absolutely forged,” Dr Morris confirmed incredibly loudly.

“Who explicitly signed as the official witness?” the prosecutor asked pointing at the fake document.

“Rick Jenkins,” Dr Morris read the sloppy name aloud.

“Mr Jenkins did you actually witness Margaret Sterling legally sign this specific document?” the prosecutor asked turning to Rick heavily.

“No I absolutely did not,” Rick confessed sweating nervously wiping his forehead constantly.

“Then why exactly is your formal signature permanently on there?” the prosecutor demanded forcefully.

“Brenda aggressively told me to blindly sign it,” Rick repeated frantically looking terrified. “Jessica proudly said the fake signature looked incredibly close enough.”

“Liar!” Brenda screamed hysterically jumping wildly to her feet.

“Order in this courtroom immediately,” the judge yelled banging her gavel incredibly fiercely.

“Jessica actively copied it from old cleared checks,” Rick continued desperately trying to save himself. “She wickedly said old people sign incredibly shaky anyway.”

“Mr Jenkins is actively cooperating completely for a heavily reduced criminal sentence,” the desperate defense lawyer argued frantically. “He has every single reason to aggressively lie.”

“I have the original audio voice messages,” Rick shouted excitedly pulling out his phone.

“What exact voice messages Mr Jenkins?” the judge asked narrowing her eyes sharply.

“The specific ones Brenda excitedly sent when Jessica perfectly finished the fake signature,” Rick explained eagerly. “She viciously said now Olivia can finally come home to absolutely nothing.”

“You aggressively used me too Rick,” Brenda screamed pointing a shaking finger at him.

“Mrs Carter sit down immediately,” the judge ordered furiously pointing her heavy gavel.

“You truly think I magically did this massively alone?” Brenda yelled wildly looking completely unhinged.

“Voice message from Brenda Carter to Rick Jenkins sent perfectly at eleven forty two at night,” the prosecutor played the clear audio file. “Exactly eight long days entirely before Olivia Sterling returned home.”

“Jessica got the fake signature incredibly close enough,” the evil voice of Brenda echoed terribly in the silent courtroom. “Once the stupid old lady blindly signs the remaining rest Olivia can finally come home to absolutely nothing.”

“Did Jessica Carter actively know this transfer document was completely false?” the prosecutor asked Rick firmly.

“Yes absolutely,” Rick nodded rapidly.

“Did Brenda Carter aggressively plan to brutally pressure Margaret Sterling into blindly signing much more documents?” the prosecutor pressed heavily.

“Yes without a doubt,” Rick confirmed loudly.

“Did you willingly participate Rick?” the prosecutor asked finally.

“Yes I sadly did,” Rick admitted lowering his tired head.

“Mr Jenkins is desperately trying to save himself today,” Brenda yelled wildly trying to disrupt the tight narrative.

“I absolutely am trying to save myself,” Rick fired back fiercely. “But saving myself aggressively starts with finally telling the absolute truth.”

“You aggressively used me too Rick,” Brenda repeated hysterically pulling at her messy hair.

“Mrs Carter sit down right now,” the judge commanded incredibly forcefully standing up halfway.

“You actively think I violently did this completely alone?” Brenda screamed wildly completely losing her remaining mind. “He drank heavily in that house. Jessica wildly wore those expensive clothes. Everyone selfishly wanted something fancy. Do not brutally drag me down entirely with you.”

“You were already completely down there Brenda,” Rick muttered quietly shaking his head in absolute disgust.

“Mrs Sterling is there absolutely anything you firmly want the quiet court to know today?” the judge asked gently softening her stern voice.

“I genuinely wanted to be incredibly kind,” Grandma Margaret stated beautifully standing incredibly tall. “You brutally made me completely afraid of my own sweet home Brenda. You aggressively made me feel entirely foolish for truly loving people. But I will absolutely not let you violently take basic kindness permanently from me.”

“Mrs Sterling I absolutely do not forgive you,” Brenda spat viciously looking purely evil.

“Court is officially adjourned entirely until massive sentencing tomorrow morning,” the judge declared banging the heavy gavel a final time.

“You still absolutely do not truly deserve that luxurious life Olivia,” Jessica sneered wickedly walking past me in handcuffs.

“Maybe not Jessica,” I replied coldly looking her directly in the eyes. “But I will absolutely never violently steal the life of someone else just to feel slightly better.”

“I did not even officially get the massive house,” Brenda cried terribly as the police led her forcefully away.

“Failure absolutely does not magically erase clear criminal intent Brenda,” Liam stated firmly watching them leave entirely.

“After long exhausting weeks of viral live streams, massively leaked documents, successfully recovered footage, and dramatic courtroom testimony today,” the news anchor summarized flawlessly the following bright morning.

“Brenda Carter on severe charges of violent elder abuse, grand theft, financial fraud, and criminal conspiracy,” the stern judge read the final verdict loudly. “This court firmly finds you completely guilty.”

“Jessica Carter on massive charges of severe elder abuse, financial fraud, massive forgery, and identity misrepresentation,” the judge continued flawlessly. “This court firmly finds you completely guilty.”

“No,” Jessica screamed hysterically dropping to the wooden floor. “No this absolutely cannot be happening.”

“Rick Jenkins your active cooperation has been generously considered but criminal participation has severe consequences,” the judge stated firmly looking at him. “Massive restitution will be strictly ordered for all stolen property, severe damages, and the violent financial exploitation of Margaret Sterling.”

“I did not even officially get the massive house,” Brenda repeated wildly completely broken.

“Failure absolutely does not magically erase clear criminal intent,” the judge repeated Liam’s exact phrase perfectly shutting her down completely.

“Miss Sterling are you fully satisfied with the massive sentence today?” Emily Davis asked gently stepping respectfully outside the grand courthouse.

“No heavy sentence magically repairs exactly what was violently broken Emily,” I answered completely honestly. “But massive legal consequences absolutely deeply matter.”

“Mrs Sterling what exactly happens now?” Emily asked turning perfectly to my grandmother.

“We finally go completely home Emily,” Grandma Margaret smiled a very beautiful real smile.

“Grandma I totally forgot exactly what it beautifully felt like to be fully allowed warmly back in,” I whispered hugging her incredibly tightly.

“You never ever needed explicit permission Olivia,” Grandma Margaret replied softly stroking my hair gently. “This massive house desperately needs its loving family completely back.”

“Then I am permanently back Grandma,” I promised fiercely.

“Massive restitution paperwork is completely ready,” Liam announced walking briskly into the quiet library the very next morning. “Also the corporate board enthusiastically withdrew the ridiculous removal vote completely.”

“Is that your fancy legal way of simply saying I am definitely still CEO?” I teased him gently leaning against the heavy desk.

“That is my direct personal way of happily saying you completely won Olivia,” Liam smiled deeply staring warmly at me.

“Not quite yet Liam,” I disagreed softly looking at the restored family portraits. “Winning is truly making absolutely sure Grandma never ever feels lonely in this massive house again.”

“As my dedicated brilliant lawyer?” I asked playfully stepping incredibly close to him.

“No,” Liam answered softly shaking his handsome head gently.

“As my incredibly fierce protector?” I asked quietly looking deep into his eyes.

“No,” Liam repeated taking my hands warmly.

“Then as exactly what Liam?” I whispered emotionally my heart beating incredibly fast.

“Arthur our brilliant girl finally came home,” Grandma Margaret announced beautifully walking gracefully into the library completely interrupting us perfectly.

“I was happily talking to your grandfather,” she smiled pointing at his freshly restored portrait. “Tell him I am so incredibly sorry I took so incredibly long.”

“He would proudly say you are beautifully here now Margaret,” Liam offered gently pulling up a comfortable chair. “Sit right here. That is your exact seat. It is our family table.”

“To Mrs Sterling,” Liam raised his coffee mug smiling warmly. “The absolute strongest woman in all of Manhattan.”

“Agreed entirely,” I smiled raising my mug perfectly.

“That might truly be the absolute longest fancy speech you have ever given Liam,” Grandma Margaret teased him happily.

“I explicitly edited it completely down Margaret,” Liam laughed loudly.

“Sorry,” Carlos interrupted stepping quietly into the warm room. “One last important work thing Miss Olivia. At dinner tonight the Sterling Group officially launches the massive Elder Safety Foundation directly after the successful Carter case.”

“No one should ever be violently trapped in their own home just because they are way too incredibly kind to ask for help,” Carlos explained proudly. “We are officially naming it directly after you Mrs Sterling.”

“The Margaret Sterling Foundation,” Liam announced smiling broadly.

“If you fully approve Grandma?” I asked gently taking her hand.

“I completely approve Olivia,” she smiled wiping a happy tear.

“You successfully survived the massive family dinner Liam,” I noted quietly later that beautiful evening standing warmly on the quiet patio.

“Barely Olivia,” Liam laughed softly pulling me incredibly close.

“You also beautifully saved the massive house, the entire company, and my sweet grandmother,” I whispered gratefully leaning against his strong chest.

“Sounds incredibly legally efficient,” Liam joked softly kissing my forehead gently.

“Olivia your beloved mother specifically asked me to fiercely protect you,” Liam said suddenly incredibly seriously looking deeply into my eyes. “But I am actively asking right now completely for myself to stay permanently.”

“As my brilliant lawyer?” I asked softly smiling warmly.

“No,” Liam repeated quietly pulling me even closer.

“As my fierce protector?” I whispered entirely lost in his gaze.

“No,” Liam said passionately holding me completely.

“Then as exactly what Liam?” I asked emotionally my voice breaking slightly.

“As the man who completely entirely loves you,” Liam stated perfectly kissing me deeply.

“That strictly sounds incredibly legally risky Liam,” I smiled warmly pulling back just slightly.

“I will proudly explicitly disclose absolutely everything,” Liam promised kissing me beautifully again.

“Good,” I smiled hugging him completely. “Home was absolutely never just the cold walls Liam. It is purely the beautiful people who completely refuse to violently steal your exact place in it.”

“No one will ever violently take our beautiful home again,” I promised fiercely.

“Absolutely not while I am permanently here,” Liam vowed completely.

The Sterling house was finally totally safe. We were completely beautifully home.
